Always wondered why they put out these rankings so early with the transfer portal and NBA Draft changing what teams will look like next year.

Xavier is ranked in the only 2 "Way Too Early" Preseason Polls that I have seen. #20 by ESPN and #21 by Sporting News.

Am I missing something? Is this the Sean Miller effect already? ESPN guy said he actually had us Top 15 before Odom news.

I mean I know we have some nice pieces in place but it seems like we also have a lot of holes to fill. Love that we have Miller to lead the way though.

Odd that the guy from ESPN had Claude and Craft in the starting rotation. God love ESPN analyst/reporters. Also, not sure Sean will go with two bigs.

Seems like maybe quietly staying? He has been in photos at shootarounds/practice (whatever they are). He would have to announce by 5/1 if he was entering the portal.
