Which do you remember more fondly?
X over Arizona! (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NoKdbJB_N0o)

Is this a serious question?

Yes. Because one is an all-time great performance by one player (a win) and other is a great team performance (and a win).

Ha. You're correct. The link I had for Kansas State was bad and I replaced it with that one.
Which do you remember more fondly?
Malcolm Bernard (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NoKdbJB_N0o)
or
Jordan Crawford (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=445FqUWc3sc)
Why does it say “Jordan Crawford” for a link to the WVU tournament win? What am I missing?

The Original link went to the KSU game. It was apparently taken down. Didn't realize the second link was WVU.

I was pretty young for the WVU game so I’m gonna say Arizona. That was just… awesome.

I’m partial to the WVU win for two reasons- I think it’s the best team X has ever had, and it was the first time I thought X had legit respect. Watching the “experts picks” that had X in the final four was awesome. Came out and dominated at the beginning. Pure joy after.
I can get the AZ win too. Former coach, the way they did it. I now still have hope in games down 7 with just over 2 minutes left. I just liked the team that beat WV more.

Watching that WVU game brings back a lot of memories. Man, what a good team that was. Too bad they had to play an absolutely stacked UCLA team in the Elite 8.
Love that 2008 X team.

Can I do a write-in for Texas 2004?

What's not to like about BJ grilling onions for Huggy Bear.

For those interested, the entire second half of the Arizona - Xavier game. I hadn't been able to find this and happy I did!

Too bad X players had a brutal shooting day. Duncan (a 42% shooter from 3) went 1-6. Jackson was 1-5 on the day and 0-3 from 3. BJ, a stud the prior game, was just 1 for 3 from 3.
That was a good team, but I think I liked the 08-09 team (D Brown was in his 3rd and what would be his final year) a little better. I thought that team had a chance to get to a Final Four. Just a bit unlucky against Pitt.
Then of course, just think how awesome the following year’s team might have been had D Brown stayed! Can you imagine Crawford and D. Brown (both at the top of their game) on the same team? I almost cried when Brown decided to leave for the NBA. That team might truly have been the Final Four team we never got to see.

I say that all the time... had Miller stayed and convinced Brown to come back. That was a weak field that year, too (Butler/Duke Final). Biggest “what if” in Xavier history, in my opinion.
1 - Holloway
2 - Crawford
3 - Brown
4 - McLean
5 - Love

That's a toss up. Both classic games.Beating Huggs is always cause for celebration so maybe a slight edge to that game. I'm not sure if watching old clips will lift my spirits or depress me more about the current state of the program

In a vacuum probably the win against Arizona, but I wasn't living in Cincinnati at the time. I was for the WVU game, I was at a bar with about thirty friends, and it was amazing!! So, selfishly...that one.

Damn… is the right sentiment. A stacked team - Start starters and solid back ups at every position. Great shooters and athletic bigs who could bang and out physical opponents. And even a stretch four in Brown. In the sea of phenomenal former X-men, D Brown may be my all/time favorite. He could do it all and since he was so athletic, he made it look so damn cool.
No question - that roster with Miller was destined to be our Final Four team.
The grass is always greener. Crazy how Miller left for Arizona because it looked to be a sure way to make multiple Final Four appearances and even be a contender for a National Championship and yet he didn’t even get to one Final Four. Had Miller stayed, he very possibly makes it to a Final Four and even a good possibility he makes it to a National Championship game.
I barely remember participating. It’s been a while……

Wow, this is tough for me. Both of these were so awesome. I remember exactly where I was and who I was with watching both of these games.
Recency bias makes me lean towards Arizona a little, and it was the more unexpected win, however, I think I will say the WVU game. I was a senior in college in a bar in St. Louis, with another SLU classmate who was a huge X fan and were were the only ones in the bar going nuts for and cheering for X. Plus we beat Bob Thuggins.
