Football is my secondary sport to basketball but have watched ever Super Bowl as am 66. The Bengals seemed kind of written off in each game, Vegas, Tennessee, and especially today. I could have seen a 42-10 loss at one time but they hung in until something good happened. The best effort play this year for X was Scruggs blocking Kalkenbrenner at end of half who then scored anyway. However the effort and rage carried over. When Chiefs had first and one with 9 seconds in first half i kind of thought it was over and would be 28-10..They hung in and caused a royal screw up and never even got to 28! I dont know how this can be conveyed but it is a real life current example of never say die effort. Carr, Tannenhill and Mahones(!!!) all wilted under pressure but if you dont stay connected and give yourself a chance it would be as meaningless as Scruggs block. Just a thought. Go Bengals

Maybe the Bengals were inspired today by the Muskies 2nd half comeback yesterday.

Like Xavier couldn't but a basket at home against Marquette, Mahomes - after only one incomplete pass in the first half - was off target on most of his second half passes...at home...in the AFC Championship. Just fell apart.

I think one characteristic of Steele's teams is that they don't quit. You could argue about a bunch of other stuff, but that's not one of them.

Xavier should also sign a generational talent like Joe Burrow.

I 100% agree with this, they like playing with each other and they fight. I've never been disappointed with that aspect of it, they may do some dumb things often, but they definitely try hard.

All we need is a billionaire bagman for NIL, let's hope either my filthy gambling habit or cryptocurrency sky rocket and I'll lead the charge.

They are like caffeine - do stupid things faster with more energy!

Why didn’t THEY think of that???

After my kids got out of high school the basketball program really picked up, beating teams we usually lost to. The coach told the newspaper “the kids have finally learned the system and gotten with the program”. Yeah, that and you never had a future NBA player on the roster before! A-hole!
