seems like any rescheduled game is going to be tough and get squeezed in.

So really only one day of rest/travel. Wonder why they didn't put it on Saturday or Sunday. TV?

i think since uconn cancelled they should have to deal with it and be forced to play on the 12th ha

That day is no good for me, I'll be traveling to Florida!

This is an interesting question. If the game is rescheduled, but you already have plans, will the university reimburse you if the ticket goes unused? Or BETTER YET, should UCONN have to reimburse Xavier?

X said you can use your ticket towards a future game

I think they meant the future UCONN game, not ANY future game (there would seem to be capacity issues in this case). Someone please clarify.

What about season ticket holders?

I dont understand how any tickets for a future game helps season ticket holders. You already have tickets to all future games.

I hope we beat the living shit out of UCONN. More than a few people believe Hurley pulled a con job with the league when they could have fielded a team.

Or UConn reimburse those of us directly especially if we had plane tickets to get to the game that was canceled? BTW ... how many of us have looked up is cancelled spelled with one "l" or two?

we have season tickets. my niece is on the firecracker jump rope team. my mother and others want to go to that game instead of the uconn game to see my niece perform.

Now do Georgetown.
Which may be impossible due to that school’s ludicrous testing & quarantine policies.
That place is a joke. But not funny.
I hope that Georgetown loses tens of millions of dollars over this.
Money talks

Remember when Georgetown used to be a serious institution with a well-respected basketball program? It's been a while, so maybe only us oldsters remember.

I'm fine losing a road game with Georgetown...they stink and won't help our resume anyway. A home win over UCONN, though, could.

My uncle is a Graduate of both Georgetown & Georgetown Law. He went on to a highly respected career as a Judge.
He has said many times how embarrassed he is of what the school has become.
The wokesters have run amok, he says.

Yeah but they aren't season ticket holders right? They had UConn tickets separate from your season tickets.

It really isnt a big deal bc a lot of season tickets holders can't make it to every game anyway, you buy season tickets knowing there may be some you miss. But, short of reimbursing season ticket holders who can't go to that game, or giving them extra tickets for s future game to give to firends or family, you really can't make it up for them if they can't go to the new date.

Ohio State is closing concessions at home athletic events. I"ll wear a mask but please don't take my overpriced beer away.

No concessions would be the straw that does it for me! At that point I’ll just go to Listermanns and watch the game there. Or worse - on my own TV, with my own beer and popcorn.

I don’t mind showing my card - though i wonder how that is going to slowdown entry. I don’t even mind the masks - I have a best friend who had all three jabs get it and was in ICU on a vent, he’s in a normal room now - but that was a scared straight moment for me. I’m trying to play by CDC guides but watching a whole game in their now recommended minimum N95/KN95 might be tough.
