Per Baum, Steele said Kyky needs season ending surgery. Didn't disclose what the injury was I guess.

too bad and prayers.. He should get healthy for next year as he won't have options now and with scruggs and Nate gone there will be a chance for minutes and he knows he can do it. He is a little like Isiah Thomas(the recent one) who had a good year and a lot of bad luck now trying to come back. Wish him health and success

Geez, gotta feel bad for the kid. Well, there will be minutes up for grabs at the guard spots next year. Hope to see him succeed with the time he has left.

That would possibly explain his reoccurring “illness”. I really feel for the kid. I’m quite sure that he never envisioned his college career being anything like it has been. Hopefully he comes back strong and can enjoy the rest of it. It’s a reminder to us all that nothing is promised, so take advantage of the opportunities you have.

He looked like he had put on some weight during the off-season. I was hoping that might lead to better performance on the court and more playing time.
