Oklahoma State Pre-Game

The Oklahoma State game is Huge. This Sunday at 5pm on ESPNU

Xavier will be favored to win the rest of the non-conference games with Ball State, UC and Morehead St. An away win is also a resume builder. Right now this is the most important game left in the non-con.

Oklahoma State(6-2) just lost at home to Wichita State so they are going to be trying to right the ship against Xavier.

They also lost at home to Oakland and are probably not a top half Big XII team. Losing to them wouldn't be "harmful", and winning will probably end up looking pretty good on a tournament resume. They are imminently beatable (obviously), so this is a really good opportunity for X. I suspect when the line comes out Vegas will see it as essentially a coin-flip game.

Gotta get Scruggy back on track in this one. Caught some heat here for outing him in the Iowa St debacle, but hindsight says he played with the stomach flu bug in both Brooklyn games. Doesn't do a whole lot to explain his sub par line Wednesday, but we can't get where we want to go without him posting at least recent career numbers going forward.
