I think I am the top supporter of this dude here. He kinda Kunk'd UC last night.....definitely in flashes. Nice overall numbers and incredible energy. He is very sneaky athletically and is starting to be "magic man with the ball in his hand" (that rolls off the tongue nicely). His speed to the rim is remarkable and VERY deceptive. It is becoming increasingly apparent that he can create his own shot at will and is starting to use 1 eye hunting for assists.

This guy is the quintessential spark off the bench in all phases. He, along with Odom give X the strongest stable of guards in the BEast....it's not even close. Kunkel could start and play starter minutes without missing a beat. In fact, I predict he will start next year....probably a foregone conclusion. His numbers by % are starting to creep up towards his stellar sophomore season in key metrics. Namely everyone's favorite 3pt% and the underappreciated A/TO ratio which is his career best.....currently stands at 2:1.

Another important observation. He looks like a young Leonardo DiCaprio if he was a porn star.

AK quickly becoming a true game changer. With a little more consistency, he will continue to be a significant weapon.

His stats have become sneaky good.

25 3's at a 38% clip. Second behind Nate in BOTH metrics. Scruggs and Jones have 25 combined 3's at lower %.

Only NINE TO's! Think about that for a minute. Role is somewhat different, but Odom has 26 in roughly the same amount of minutes. Getting close to a 3:1 A/TO ratio.

Now over 70% from the line (will go up), chips in nicely on the glass and has 11 steals.

Aside from the #'s, he is becoming a noticable disruption on defense, directly attributed to his effort/energy. Smart on help defense, switches well and is getting better staying in front of his man.

Everything looking good for Steele's new boyfriend.

With defenses covering Johnson closely, teams are not putting their top defender on Kunkle or Jones or Scruggs. Hope the entire team's defense can play well Wednesday. Crowd will be popping.
