It was a cold day in Chicago and , alas, our mighty Musketeers fell to the home team Northwestern in the NCAA tournament. But they are Big East champs and return a strong team next year.

OXFORD, Ohio - Xavier women's tennis ended an 11-game win streak for Cincinnati, topping the Bearcats 6-1 at Eastern Hills on Saturday evening. The win was the third-straight for Xavier over Cincinnati.

Today in Cayce, South Carolina, the Women beat Marquette to advance to the semi-finals against St John's tomorrow in BE Tournament play,

The Men are playing now at the same location in the quarter final against Georgetown.

Women are also top-seeded in their tournament. Could be a real big week for the school seeing as how the women's golf team already won their 4th straight BE Championship and smoked the field.

Doing well in these women's sports in the BE makes me think we should be able to field a competitive women's basketball team.
