For some reason, I find it funny that programs found cheating decide to take this initiative to decide how to punish their program instead of the NCAA. Seems like the going rate for cheating is to do a self imposed one year postseason ban regardless of how bad the cheating was. NCAA needs to police better or they need to go away. I’m waiting for Louisville to do the same here soon.

I expected no pizza for a week. This seems great!

What a joke.

The thing is, these big programs know they can get away with it. The NCAA hasn't handed down a reasonable punishment for any college basketball program, for football nothing since SMU's death penalty (maybe you could argue Baylor's was close to acceptable, but that's still up for debate IMO), and until that changes every single one is going to do the "oh look we're self imposing here!!" The NCAA has to be the worst, most incompetent organization around, it's laughable how bad they are at quite literally everything.

I would say FIFA is the worst organization around with the NCAA right behind them.

I will say this for Arizona - at least they're not imposing a penalty when they know they'll suck (cough, cough)Syracuse (cough).

I also hope nothing else big is about to hit the fan down there that would cause them to hit the reset button.

Okay, yeah I can't argue that, FIFA, then NCAA second, but to be fair FIFA's corruption spans over basically the entire globe, while the NCAA is just purely incompetent within the confines of the States haha.

Louisville did do one for the strippers. I guess they could do another one for the Adidas thing.

Update.

Arizona is retroactively imposing the 1 year ban to the 2019-20 season.

Kinda joking about the farce.....

Why is Arizona doing this? After all, Sean Miller said that he "did nothing wrong."

And the NCAA is probably dumb enough to buy this bogus "penalty".

Criminal---"I embezzled $5mill from my employer but here, please take this Escalade from me as restitution. We're good now, right??"

I picked Buick because the small schools get penalized when Blue-bloods get punished

Maybe the self-imposed penalty should be to drive that Buick during the post season. But that would be cruel and unusual.
