Amazing performance!

What a great game all around. It’s so great to know we have so many guys who can hurt the opposing team. Not to dwell on the recent past, but we have MULTIPLE guys who can hurt you. Not one or two who would dominate the ball with questionable outcomes. (OK, that was dwelling a bit, but can you blame me?)

P.S. - Belmont is fabulous, but you deserve a higher level of competition and exposure. Looking forward to watching the rest of your college career.

I will say they tried to go AT Kunkel, and he held his own and was active. His foul shooting reminds me of Steve Nash.

Good shooting sure cures a lot of problems. Two of the best back to back offensive performances I remember from a Xavier team, and this is my 54th year of watching our Muskies!!!!

It was just about 1/2 a second ahead of the TV, and it was spectacular. I heard it and then I saw it, but with such a little gap in time as to be almost instantaneous.

I think X is 11th in country from 3. Johnson is shooting 57% from 3 and is 23rd in the county.
X has 5 players who can confidently nail 3’s.
Tandy is looking like our 5th option. At this rate he has to be thinking “ I got to go somewhere to shoot”

I think Tandy has gotten the message. He played 11 steady minutes yesterday and didn't force one shot or dribble into trouble.

Definitely need to drag this thread up top. In fact, barring any more lengthy gaps in the schedule, it could very well stay on page 1 from here on out!

This guy is a real difference maker....right out of the gate he drains a cold blooded 3 at the buzzer, proceeded to make an incredible pass to initiate the Jones sequence for another buzzer beater and has pulled off a myriad of circus shots when driving to the rim. His jumpers look beautiful coming off his hand with a nice quick release.....very effective from distance as well as some pretty pull ups mid range.

How about that block yesterday!....no one is playing with more passion/effort than Kunk and he displays some noticeable leadership qualities.

He hasn't flinched vs BEast competition and you can tell he loves his transfer decision.....has definitely found a permanent home at X. It's going to be a pleasure watching him further develop over the next few years!!

Will be nice to see how he develops physically over the next 2 years. I can see him putting on an easy 10-15 additional lbs and getting a lot stronger. He’s already plenty tough. Appears to be a GREAT pickup!

He is 6’4” and 176 lbs.

You’re right...he needs to add 25.

He was planing to redshirt this year so that he could do exactly this....get bigger and stronger. He’ll have to work on it over the off-season now, but he’s getting a lot more playing experience against BE competition by not redshirting, so it’s a good trade off.
