This should probably go in the “X Collection” thread, but I think more people will see it here. This was posted just 3 weeks ago

One of the happiest moments in my life.

I don't think Georgetown expected to play an MCC team with three front court players with a combined 14,733 NBA points and 11,857 NBA rebounds in their futures.

What a great day that was. I remember hounding Purdue fans for lower level tickets after the Boilers lost to Texas. They were not a happy group, but we were fortunate enough to move down and watch that game from the lower level. That was my first NCAA game in person.

I did as well. Ended up at mid-court about five rows up. Fabulous fun.

Public reps. The Man is holding me down on the private ones.

What a game, what a day, what a dismantling of the vaunted GTown Twin Towers, one of which was hailed a the next Patrick Ewing.

What a great game and playing it in Indy with a bunch of X fans made it that much sweeter. The Sweet 16 win over Texas in Atlanta and the win in ‘88 over Louisville were my other all time favorites that I saw in person.

Damn you Lance Blanks - thought we had the Texas game too - and then the 2nd half happened.

What exactly happened in that game? I know we had a big lead at halftime but what happened in the 2nd half?

Maurice Brantley sure could play strong. What a shame he had to be let go. He had a great body.

Public reps because the man is keeping me down. How many get the BMW reference?

Sadly, I do, and I'm still upset about losing a 17 point halftime lead.

Strong and Hill were a force. Three NBA big men on that team
