So with the BET cancelled does that mean the X loss last night didn't happen? If so that's technically one fewer loss on the resume

You ask this like the NCAA is going to still have the Tournament.

Who knows they probably won't but I am just curious. If the BET is cancelled then technically something that happened in that event didn't happen right?

Leave it to the NCAA to have a tournament played by amateurs for the sake of money when the Pros find it too dangerous to play. That would be breaking new ground!

1. NCAA plans to announce NCAAT bracket but postpones start of NCAAT indefinitely
2. Any conference tournament games are removed from a team's resume
3. All regular season conference champions are deemed automatic qualifiers (for teams who tied, it will be given to whoever was seeded #1 in their respective conference tournaments given conference tiebreakers).
4. Selection committee fills the remaining field with available at-large
5. ????
6. Xavier's dancing
Don't think you could postpone the tournament. All those facilities have other events going on at later dates. Or was your entire post just bs ?

If they did postpone the tournament I imagine it would still be a family only type thing. You could find a ton of smaller places that would be available.....
*holding on hope for a tournament. Only reason it isn't canceled yet is because they are trying to explore all options IMO. Doubt it happens still
NVM just saw it got canceled.

It's a moot point obviously. This was a perfect world case scenario.

I’m just glad the game didn’t count. Lose Scruggs and we lose 3 close games. We win 2/3 with him. So technically x does make the dance!!!!!

THIS is our chance! If all the tops teams (Kansas, Duke.....and another 150 or so.....) keep dropping out, we get our National Championship!

So our final record is COVID-19-12?

If you check Xavier's recap of record, Depaul's recap of record and the final Big East Standings as published by the league, Xavier's final record is 19-13 and DePaul wound up at 16-16. Finally, on the NCAA website, Xavier's final record is shown as 19-13 and a final NET of 47.
It was an official game, and it counted. We weren't making the Dance folks. Be thankful for a cancellation of this mess.
