Looks like Jason Carter's extended family just grew by 2-3,000 people. Who wants to tell him?

Do teams that are used to playing in front of no one have an advantage? If so, Penn State might win the national title.

I assume VD fans are sneaking in wireless speakers as we speak at the Dump so they can boo Xavier from home if X makes the PIG.

I hope this passes before the Final Four here in Atlanta. IF it doesn’t, I sure hope they don’t play in Mercedes Benz stadium. Basketball in a football stadium sucks! For multiple reasons.

This is stupid. Might as well cancel the tourney. These kids are going to be out there basically playing in a practice gym where all you here are squeaky sneakers.

NCAA is thinking of moving games to smaller venues in the same city where the games are to be played.

Kind of strange that I am watching games today with fans but next week they are not allowed. I wonder if any major conference is going to cut it off mid tournament from letting fans in. ACC, SEC, Big East, ect.

Seems crazy that the NCAA will not have fans at games. Seems crazy. Just crazy.

Which I am sure they would prefer to cancelling.

If anyone does it, it will be the Big East in NYC (and A-10 in Brooklyn). If only one doesn't cut out fans, I'd pick Pac-12 in Vegas. If there's going to be a lone dissenter overall (including non-power), I'd go with the AAC, because Texas makes their own rules.

I’m sure people who purchased tickets to the various games will be able to get refunds. What about the people who bought tickets on the secondary markets or from scalpers? I’m guessing they’re screwed.

I still think there's a chance Vegas says fuck it and keeps the Pac-12 Tournament with fans. The Vegas lobby is going to lean HARD on them to do it. They want people to think Vegas is corona-free and safe. I want to think that, too, since I'm going there next weekend!

Would think so. Unless there is like a take your ticket to the window situation but I doubt that. Do the scalpers get their money back plus the money they got for tickets? I guess so. I bet you'll see them selling theirs tonight to unsuspecting fans at a great discount for the rest of the tourney.

Man I love March Madness in Vegas. Personally I would have had to cancel this year so glad I am not going but I want to try and make it back soon (harder to do with 10 month old triplets and a 3 year old.)

I agree - there is nothing like March Madness in Vegas. Started going back in the early 90's and went pretty consistently for about 15 years until the kids started getting older. Haven't been in a few years but need to get back.

Where’s the best sports book to watch games? I have only been to Venetian during March madness and was fairly pleased with their setup

My plan is to bet at Paris and watch games at the Beer Park, which is an outside-ish bar at the base of the Eiffel Tower. Being outdoors helps with coronavirus after all.

I would think Vegas derives significant revenue from the convention business, which may be due for a big hit.

Oh agree, but they may want to try to maintain the image of all being well by having fans in stands for those games.

If they opened up Galen, Staples and Pauley...all the homeless people in LA would have a place to sleep tonight.
