Scruggs injury and the dance

The committee usually looks at injuries when deciding a teams fate. We didn’t have our second leading scorer for two games and we lost by a total of 7 points. Had Paul played I don’t think we lose both games in fact I say we win both games. The committee will take that into account. As long as x wins weds they will be in the PIG.

Got to agree. Although Scruggs has not been a world beater lately, keeping Q and Moore - and our end of game anti-hero James - on the bench alone would have won both games. Yesterday for sure.

So Scruggs is possibly out the entire beast tourney. That’s not good. What is going on with him?

Heard Travis on sports talk with Lance Mcalister tonight said that Scruggs worked out today for first time but he gave no timeline. Said he doesn’t want to rush him back and further complicate his injury.

I think I would agree with holding him out till the dance.

Well this is not about playing in the PIG or being a 1 and done in the dance. This is the kids health. No reason to rush him back so he can play an extra game or two. Sucks for sure but have to think about the kid and sounds like they are.

This is a hamstring. If you've never had a hamstring injury.........they are very, very slow to heal. He wont be 100% until after the season is over IMHO
