Is Naji and Q both out tonight? If that’s the case I really like our chances. That sounds stupid I know but maybe now these guys will do what the coaches say and not just jack up I’ll advise shots. This will be a good test to see if we really are not that good or was Naji and Q just keeping us down.

I, for one, would be surprised if this happens.
But I'd be interested to see how it turns out without them. At the end of the day, we're probably a better team with Naji out there. But chemistry is a funny thing.

Whats the source or cause of this speculation?
(EDIT).... I see it was Shannon. Interesting

Hows it working for us so far? Season is all but over, I love to see what this team can do without a guy jacking up half court shots and shooting out of control. We might lose but maybe we will play more as a team.

If Naji doesn't play, who guards Howard?

If Naji DOES play, who "guards" Howard?

Yes, because playing our bench players more (who have looked extremely lost on the court half the time) will have us playing as a team! We'll lose by 47, but at least Naji won't turn the ball over 4 times on his way to 20 points.

We are not very good....but when everything is clicking for Naji (rare) we are at our best and can play with almost everyone.

This was just tweeted by Adam (atom bomb) Baum:
"JUST IN: Travis Steele said he's "hopeful" that Naji Marshall and Quentin Goodin will play tonight against Marquette. Both fully participated in shootaround this afternoon"

Fair question but I would expect us to try the same deny him the ball strategy that we used against Powell. Without Naji that brings Moore, Tandy and Scruggs into defending Howard. Oh boy!

According to Adam Baum. Steele is “hopeful” Naji and Q will play tonight as both took part in the shoot around

Both are warming up right now at Cintas.
