I hardly fly anymore and have a question for the group. I'm going to be in the air for the Georgetown game in a couple of weeks. Will I be able to stream and watch the game on Fox Sports Go? I know that a lot of flights do now have WiFi. Thanks.

they have wifi, but the service is very slow. Not sure it will be worth it for you

I am not sure about watching the game but a few years back while flying to Florida I was able to listen to Joe and Byron call the game on Delta wifi.

I fly Delta usually and I've never had a problem streaming things with their wifi.

Make sure you download the Gogo Entertainment app. It will allow you to stream some live TV in the air at no cost. I am not sure FS1 is included in the app (I know ESPN is).

If you don't have FS1 for some reason, use this link. (https://www.reddit.com/r/ncaaBBallStreams/)They post high quality links an hour before gametime and I use it every time there is an out of market X game and it works great.

CFish, I fly Delta between DC and Cincy several times a year and use Gogo, though I haven’t tried streaming. Sometimes it takes a few minutes after reaching 10,000 feet for the wifi to work. You may want to set up a Gogo account beforehand and prepay for a flight pass to speed the process once you’re in the air. Enjoy the flight and game!

Depends on the plane. The larger mainline jets (i.e. 737) have high(er) speed WiFi. The RJs do not. I've been able to stream games with little problem on the big jets. The RJs not so much. You should, however, have no problem listening to B & J on iHeart app.
