Given the fact that this season will be a war, not a bad thought. Nobody is that bad now, but they were MONEY 2 years ago.
this is what dedication can effect.
Amazing improvement in the free throw shooting of all the Xavier players from last year to this year;
Bluiett .754 >.877
Macura .785 >.854
Jones .488 >.628
Gates .722 >.818
O'Mara .684 >.906
Goodin .575 >.892

I don't know about your stats database...but here is ESPN's on Goodin's FT%
2016-17.....57.5%
2017-18.....79.1%
2018-19.....66.4%
2019-20.....60%
I hope the downward trend can be reversed.

since this was my Facebook "memory" from Dec 29 2017 I did go down from there but ended up at essentially 80%. I assume most went down a little from that point but still we were pretty confident that year

I also wonder how much of that deals with the amount of free throws though, I don't think it's a stretch to believe Q didn't take as many a couple years ago because Blueitt, Macura, etc.

Yet they shot a tremendous 63 percent when they lost the first weekend...
