Alternate uniforms (other than the hideous Spain script white jerseys against Missouri State) have been noticeably absent this season. Anyone think the plan is to wear the runningman home and away for all of Big East play? I know Mario and the staff don't love the darker "gray" of the current gray jerseys, so wouldn't be surprised if we don't see those at all.

Personally, think this would be kind of a cool touch. I think Seton Hall and Nova do something similar.

i hope we wear them a lot. i'm a huge fan. maybe not every game, but more than the two games they've done in the past. i think they've only worn them once on the road and once at home each season. i'd be down for more than that.

They've never worn the Runningman throwbacks on the road - the only time we saw the blues was at home against Marquette last year.

I was thinking they wore the blues ones at Marquette but you’re right

Nova has some great unis. The ones they wore against Kansas were sharp.

Our throwbacks are our best look. We should wear them as much as possible.

Ror the record.....the metallic X on the shorts with the dark unis is not my favorite look I like the classic blue and white. And of course runningman is ridiculously sharp

I predict throwing said uniforms on during conference play is the plan. It gets our team a little pumped, possible connect to the past and glorious tradition and perhaps giving the other team a look they may not have seen on film or broadcast views that intimidates and throws them off just enough.

It's a theory.
