Draws with Ohio State and Michigan State and a win over Valpo with Akron coming up. Looking forward to the year and seeing the new guys. The schedule is always exciting.

I believe they are ranked either #2 or #3 in the country to open the season and were the national championship runner-up last year so...yes, apparently.

Yep they’re 2/3 in the polls. Michigan state was in the top ten and we drew with them in the exhibition

After such a great start, they've been really rough. Can't seem to find the back of the net. Frustrating season.

The women's team is quietly one game away from their first-ever Big East regular season title. Either a win at Butler or tie (along with a Georgetown tie or loss) would clinch it for Xavier.

First BE semifinal now underway at Creighton's Morrison Stadium - Xavier strikes first with a goal in the 15th minute against Villanova. Winner plays either Georgetown or Providence on Sunday.

Xavier strikes first in the 10th minute. Would be huge to take down a Georgetown team that's been to two College Cup semifinals in the past 3 seasons.

little different stakes. big east tournament final > jacksonville/siena at home to start the season. not that i totally disagree, just being realistic.
