Oh,,,,YAAAAAASSSSS!!

Played Wild Dunes before Hurricane Hugo came through and wiped out the Oceanfront holes. Will be interesting to see how they reconfigured it.
A great track nonetheless.

Assuming it’s the Links Course and not Harbor Course...

The 17th hole has been relatively unchanged since Hugo. The 18th however has undergone several restoration phases and changes. About 10 years ago they completely restored the beach due to erosion and re-created the 18th as a par 5 and it was spectacular. Another storm surge occurred and wiped out the 18 fairway and green. About 4 years ago they just converted it to a par 3. Still a fantastic finish, just add 2 clubs to your 18th tee shot because there’s a lot of air up there! Also make sure to step back to the Black tees on 17 if you’re “playing it forward”. The tee box is a sight to be seen.
