Sources: Matchups for the 2019 Charleston Classic are set.

Florida/St. Joe's
Miami/Missouri State
UConn/Buffalo
Xavier/Towson


Should set us up to play UConn in the semis and Florida in the finals.

Looking forward to playing Towson, having grown up minutes from the school and a lot of friends as alums.

Perfect time to get a shot at the Gators! A NonCon W there would be HUGE! They recently got a whole lot better when they added Blackshear to go along with their two 5 Stars and a solid returning group of starters.....Suddenly favorite to win the SEC.

Some of the best BBQ in South Carolina comes from Scott's in Hemingway.
He opened a satellite in Charleston. Go if you can.

I would add Vickery's in Mount Pleasant as a must-hit while you're in town! Great views, and a beautiful walk along a pier out into the marsh where the shrimp boats come in and out to head out to open water. Very cool place.

I like the rooftops of bars in Evanston better. If I somehow accidentally get over-served I might even have a beer up there some day. A lot cheaper than the "specialty cocktails" in Charleston. Unless I fall off.

I make nine. Can't wait. For those of you on the fence ... the Nov/Dec tournaments are a great experience. Small gyms, often alumni/fan events, casual opportunities to see coaches/players/administrators (but please do respect their privacy as well). I'd go to the Big East tournament over this, but if you do decide to travel to see the team play, these tournaments are great experiences.

This works perfectly for us because Thanksgiving week Tourneys are always out because of Family obligations. Can't wait!

My tickets arrived in the mail today. Looks like if you did the early bird thing you actually were buying tickets to ALL the games. I've got two tickets to all 6 sessions (two sessions per day as you would expect with two games per session). I did the lower level chairback general admission (it's all GA, lowers with chairbacks, upper on bleachers I assume). Sooooo... if anyone is interested in tickets for the session each day that Xavier is NOT in... I know a guy that would be interested in selling!
