Taking a timeout from the politics and other bull, some good news:

I truly believe we will realize the "final 2%" through this guy.

And HIS wife is FROM Cincinnati!!

I LOVE good news!

I actually didn’t realize that after beating us Texas went on to win the NIT. I guess I stuck my head in the sand there.....

Good for Christopher as well for recognizing the talent and extending confidence so early.

~How do you extend a coach that failed to reach the Tournament?~

Great that there's a lot of confidence and support from the administration. Kind of wondered if this would have happened had the team not finished relatively strongly. I don't think there's any doubt that this group has the energy and ability to succeed. Hopefully the buy out went up accordingly!

Good recruiter, and I think he was figuring out this coaching thing towards the end of the season, I think it took some time but guys bought in eventually, there's going to be growing pains with any new head coach, but I definitely think Steele has the ability to be in the line of our last few head coaches, recruiting is always half of the battle, but as long as we improve like we did the end of the season year in and year out, we trend upwards. I think Steele deserves an extension for the way we looked towards the end, ultimately the NIT should never be Xavier's goal, but our team at the end of the season was a whole helluva lot better than the team that showed up earlier in the season, such as against Mizzu, Illinois, etc.
