Duke v. WVU

I know X has to take care of business vs. Purdue, but from a scouting standpoint, who is everyone rooting for in this game and why?

Another crack at Duke?
Another crack at Huggins?

Who does X matchup with better?

I actually think we match up better with Duke. I think Duncan would have a solid game. Alexander for WVU is a problem matchup for X - similiar to Calathes for SJU.

What do guys think? I need to know who I should root for?

I don't know...but Duke has already gotten a questionable call that puts WVU's big man in foul trouble

I'm torn. I have a co-worker who thinks Huggins is a god and told me at least three times on Friday that "X stinks." I'd love to beat Huggs at three different schools in six years.

However, Puke '04 was a bitter pill to swallow so I'd love Revenge. OK, I want Duke.

But first things first - knock out the Boilermakers for the SWEET 16!

I really do not care. Beating either one of them would be great. I have X getting past either one so neither team can really damage my bracket much beyond beating X.

I want duke! Neither team looks that great right now, and of course duke is getting every call. Paulus looks like he either hasnt slept in 3 years, or got punched in both eyes. Scheyer is a ferrit, coach K is a rat.

Thats a good question.

I mean to we take Duke to avenge the 2004 Elite 8 game, or do we take West Virginia just for the sake of beating up on another Huggins team?

I don't know what happened to Duke with Belmont, I mean Belmont the team we totally blew out earlier this season.

I'm torn on which team I would rather have. Duke put on a solid performance in the first half (but then again so did Georgia, and we know how that went).

But then Duke is only leading West Virginia by 5, so maybe this is the season to take on Duke.

Bring on those Blue Devils.

Translation: You have us losing to UCLA, which I must admit is the same way my serious bracket is marked.

WVU just went up and is going to the line. I can honestly admit, I don't know either team well enough to judge our matchup, but if Coach K is back to form, I might be more comfortable taking on Huggie Bear. Wouldn't want that Polish Voodoun working his black magic on Tournament Refs...

Update:

Huggins Army is going on a run - up 7 on Puke as I type.

Coach K calls a time out, and the Mountaineer "mascot/character" is going nuts.

I take it back...I want WVU to win. I don't want Duke to ever win another game. They are a bunch of crybabies when they don't get their way. "This is why they suck"

I actually like WVU's players, but I'm sure once thuggy gets his own thugs in there I will fully hate the entire team.

DOOOK is not looking good this half so far. But realy I do not care which team wins or loses. I will be satisfied that one of them loses.

I really dislike Thuggins and the WV hillbilly fan base, but at the same time I hate Duke as well. But since I have to deal with more Huggins fans in this area I have to go with the Dookies in this one.

Duke is slipping fast. Changing the style of offense to hide the lack of talent was simply "fix-a-flat." The 50 miles is up, and they aren't anywhere near a tire dealer.

This could be interesting - a team recruited by Beilein that shoots the 3 with Huggins' defensive persona. Somewhere out there MOR has to be salivating for this game.

This could be interesting - a team recruited by Beilein that shoots the 3 with Huggins' defensive persona. Somewhere out there MOR has to be salivating for this game.
