I never heard a bad word about him and heard his academics were solid in Info Tech. His reaction at end of Wisconsin game was one of honest sorrow. It is hard to believe that he could have been in the Florida State game so long ago was his injury. I hope that he and others from X will get their shot in the next 12 months or so.

For Pacer fans who were despondent about Victor Oladipo when he was injured and lost for the year, this has to be a nice potential development for them. Very happy to see Ed having some productive minutes for a team that could be a noisemaker in the playoffs.

Sumner on tonight but not much PT. But, 7 pts in 5 minutes so far.

I do not - the Lakers are especially awful. It's like watching Xavier last year. A bunch of guys that can't shoot that keep shooting.

sumner 13 pra in FIRST HALF tonight.. Maybe 12 min played. Who needs Kyrie..best thing that happened to Edmond..so well deserved and so damn patient.. I did not believe he would be back and effective...I thought his career was snake bit by injuries. Shows what perserverance can do and a great academic story too. Damn this makes me happy.

honestly, he went down in 2017 and we "improved" but i still like our chances against Gonzaga with him over Q. He also could have played senior year and would have been on floor against FSU instead of Q. Q was fine at the time but not in the same universe

He is really an inspirational story. I follow him on Twitter and he has shown his rehab and i always "hearted" it but had my doubs. He does make me pround(and came back for IT degree I believe)

Another good night for Sumner. 23 points in 33 minutes. Added 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Wasn't horribly efficient from inside (7-14 from 2) but was 2-3 on 3's and 3-3 from the line. He was the Nets 2nd leading scorer on the night. As others have said, this high usage is likely to be short-lived, but I'm hoping he is showing enough to get more playing time moving forward!
