Looks like the dumbest mascot in college sports may finally be eliminated. Granted, the students are picking the most ridiculous possible reason to get rid of the mascot, but sometimes the right thing happens for the wrong reason.

There were a lot of things that offended me when we used to play at GW.

-The ugly ass blue & tan court.
-Their car horn for a buzzer.
-Their ridiculous fight song "Hail to the Buff and Blue" - the Title of which sounds like a Nude Porno anthem.
-Their gym where you had to sit above the basket at the end zones.
-The high school roll out bleachers on the sidelines.
-Their players like Alexander "Ghoul" Khoul

But I was not offended by their mascot, although he was a pretty lousy rendition of a Colonial.

What a bunch of soft and immature babies today's colleges are rolling out. George Washington offensive?? Next thing will be some snowflakes at St. Joe's protesting the Hawk because it's mean to field mice and bunny rabbits.

Ya know. Reading that old thread really makes me miss some of the old posters on here. I wish they would somehow decide to come back.
DC Muskie is a classic, but I know for a fact that he no longer has a hooker in his trunk. ATL Muskie is now Music City Muskie. I miss Power of X, Home Skillet, XU Glow and his harem, PMThor, SurfXU, Gladden Guy and a few others.
We need to have a reunion weekend game and invite all those prodigal sons back. They're still walking the planet.

Speaking of GW, one of the funniest things I saw was when I went to a Cincinnati Stuff (the short-lived minor league team we had) game. Shawnta Rogers was playing for the opposing team. At one point he tried to take the ball from Wayne Turner and got called for a foul. Turner then proceeded to pat Rogers on his little head like Benny Hill, which set Rogers off.
