How are the Power 5 plus the Big East, AAC & any other conferences with multiple teams in NCAA doing? I think the Big LEast has been the worst. We are 1-4 in NCAA with no teams left. We are 3-4 in NIT with Creighton left. The AAC also put 4 in the NCAA & are currently 3-3 with Houston left & UCF sure looked good vs Duke. It has been 5 (6?) years since the new Big East formed & Nova has made the rest of our league look good , in lieu of other schools stepping up to the plate. I do believe X has been 2nd best during this time frame with 1 Elite 8. The losses of Syracuse, Louisville, Pitt, Notre Dame, UConn & even UC have not had matched success with the new schools that arrived. Is the Big East now faced with being the 6th to 7th Best Conference for a long term. It does seem like the best recruits are heading to the Power 5 or Gonzaga more often than the other leagues. As much as I disdain Coach Mack, mainly for the way he left, he must have seen Louisville as being in a much better position in the ACC to get great recruits. It is what it is. At least we have significant improvement over the A10

Mack left for Louisville for 7-8 MILLION $$$$$. Everybody would.

BE bball only league is not only winning the National Championship but it is in top 3 with 5 teams entering NCAA the PAST 3-4 years. This year was an enigma.

Why ignore the facts of this top talented conference with a down year this year?

mack's salary is 4 mill. he left for a million more per year. if it was about money he'd have left for ohio state.
