The real reason for the victory..being on CBS just before they started the second half they had a half minute video of Fiona and her second birthday as well as cute videos since last year. Great defense, few turnovers and Fiona is a winning combination. Watching from Conn and a fan of Xavier and Fiona I was pleasantly surprised to see her featured on a national hoop game

Sorry Juice - - Fiona is the best! Most famous Hippo in the world. But I'll pass on that cake she was feasting on.

It was truly a great day beating Nova, but it became a particularly very nice day doing so on national TV on CBS. I love our Fox relationship, but making it to one of two featured games yesterday, with the other being the battle of Michigan, was special.

And the Cintas Center and its environment came through with straight A's.

Good post... I didn’t read the Athletic article but I heard Steele say those words in the post press conference- That was his best post press conference so far and it had nothing to do with X beating Nova. He just starting to say all of the things you want to hear from the coach. He is really dialing into details now and getting better results becasue of it. Bravo coach- Bravo!

I agree, I listen to a little of it and I thought he gave really good detailed answers, while showing confidence in the guys and coming off as genuine. He's grown a lot over the course of the last two weeks, definitely promising if they can keep this kind of intensity up and finish strong. I loved all the answers he had, and I really am so happy for Harden. Kid has stuck with it, when someone asked Q, Naji, and Scruggs about Harden, Q and Scruggs just got this really big smile on their faces, obviously the team really likes Eli, and thinks it's well deserved.

I can see it. I appreciate Welage and Castln but Harden was here last year and has a little more chemistry. I was glad to see them both happy during the last few minutes of the game as it will probably mean a de emphasis of their role but they must stay ready. Hardin in a sense is a hybrid of both, a long defender and a three point shooter. He is probably not better as a defender than Castlin or shooter as Welage but if he is playing well may be a better fit with the team as constructed. We will need all hands on deck the next 3 games and maybe Kennedy leaving gives Harden a little extra confidence from being pulled.

Does anyone know if this game will be replayed, or knows a way to access a copy/stream of it. My elderly father is sick and missed the broadcast. Would love to help him find a way to watch it. Thanks.

Helps with recruiting too. Hope those 2-3 recruits at the game and many more watching are liking X's exposure and play.

I prefer the modern 2005+ look than the sky blue, wear a flag on your shorts look. "X" in bold looks better.
