I stumbled upon this 2016 postgame press conference where Wojo was talking about their loss to Xavier.

Felt a tremendous sense of pride being a Xavier grad and fan after hearing his remarks about X from the 2:22 mark until 4:14.

This is how people need to be talking about Xavier basketball.

Play a little better each game and every game is winnable.

Xavier... constantly eXceeding high eXpectations.

That 2015-2016 season was the most deep, balanced, and talented Xavier team I've ever watched. Did it on offense, defense, hustle plays, smart plays. 6 guys fully capable of getting you 20 on any given night. Team pretty soundly (until the very end) beat Nova in Cintas, who would go on and win the National Championship.

They were deep and so entertaining to watch. This team does not have all that talent or that deep of a bench, but if they can do those things you’ve mentioned above they have enough talent to win against the rest of this year’s unspectacular BE teams. Seeing this team play and finish a little better every game would be plenty exciting for me and one step closer to getting back to Xavier Basketball way we know and love.
