What are your realistic wishes for this team and the Xavier Community, particularly the members of our illustrious board?

Of course my unrealistic hopes are for an unbeaten conference schedule,a conference tourney championship followed by a national title.

I think we have passed the notion of the realisticity (spellcheck definitely disapproves as should all English majors, including dear old dad, God rest his soul) of my deepest desires for this team (full disclose: this was my wish last Christmas, and the Christmas before and...)

At this point my hope is for a .500 conference record, a decent showing at MSG and a squeeze into the NCAA and go from there.

My hopes for this board are continued excellence from our executive branch and moderators, increased membership and more salacious contributions to the Lounge (I miss NUTS and GLOW's old posts).

And personally...well...that's personal (it might have to do with booze and sex).

Most of all, I wish health, happiness, goodness, grace and the peace of the newborn Price of Peace to all...and to all, a good night.

At this point, I would be extremely happy with a .500 conference record. I think a miracle outside shooter is needed for X to make the NCAA tourney and win any decent games. X needs 19 wins to be a legit team in NCAA bid discussion. Gulp. I hope. Miss and prayer for repose of Gary Griffen's soul.

I wish for Goodin to get better decision-making on his shots. I wish for Scruggs to get a better set of hands. I wish Naji could be 3 inches taller. I wish for Welage to get some shoulders. I wish Castlin really was a clone of Bernard. I wish for Tyrique and Spanky to improve their passing.

I wish Hardin could get all of those things.

I wish the entire team had Tu's balls. Figuratively.

I wish for our coaches to learn, develop and grow so that in 2019-2020 they are much further along and more prepared to lead this team and program.

Just for all the stars to align! First it was Ty playing really good basketball with all the boards. Then we said Scruggs was best player on the team. Lately, Q has proven that point.

Wishing we can put all this together (along with continued improvement from Naji) for conference play.
