The last time X had a losing record was 95-96 under Skip Prosser at 13-15. That team did finish 8-8 in conference play. The last time we had a losing record in both conference and overall play was 81-82 under Bob Staak at 1-11 and 8-20. I’m afraid this year’s team is shaping up to be the worst in 37 years.

Ugh.
Maybe they give us a cinderella story in NYC in March. It's our only hope for the tourney this year.

Really hoping the start of Big East play is a way to hit the refresh button and regroup. I'm not sure it will help and I still see the .500 or better conference play record to be gone but I think they will finish .500 or better on the season.

So that means they beat Detroit and then would have to go 8-10 in conference to finish .500 or better. As of right now I dont think we have 8 conference wins in us. I put the O/U at 6.

Still think the talent is there. Steele is going to have to show us that he can get this team to buy in and play together.......Over for me.

Over on the 6. Adjustments are coming. The Core 4 will finally mesh with the 3 Grad Transfers. The coaching staff will mesh with each other. We have a new head coach with a bunch of new assistants.
