The game/tournament is all about him and his time in Maui and not about the games, players, coaches or even basketball. The worst broadcast ever. Thank God for Byron and Joe.

Thank God Walton does west coast games and can't be heard until after midnight. Honestly how does he have a job broadcasting basketball games? He adds absolutely nothing to the game cast.

He is a multi millionaire with a legacy.... He is being paid to be in Hawaii... We could only dream to be as lucky and we would all be lit and not giving two shits as well. If he got fired tomorrow he wouldn't care so may as well live it up lol

It almost looked rehearsed. He'd be talking about Liszt, Mozart and Chopin and then he'd look at the guy and ask him "what's your name again?". It was almost funny.

Agreed about walton. He has zero clue but he is funny. They showed the other trainer the other day and Walton said that’s fluker. Then he said wrong trainer. Bill is so bad that it’s great. Especially for tournament games. Now when the games really count I don’t want him but for this it’s great

Every time Q threw up one of the those bricks or air balls Walton would go, "Oh wow man!". Lol he was annoying but that would make me laugh every time.

I like Walton because even the "good" commentators add basically nothing of value to my viewing experience. So his goofy commentary doesn't distract me, and I dont miss the normal bland commentary that I would normally get while watching a game.

If you think he was bad on TV you should have seen how bad he botched the 'Meet the coaches luau' which he MC'd. First he introduced Steele as the coach of Iowa State then he asked Steele where is Xavier from. He was so bad, Sean Miller told him all of Xavier's great accomplishments and the long line of great coaches that Travis Steele succeeds. That idiot Walton kept saying "can someone please get me off this stage".

There is no doubt that “Million Dollar Bill” Walton resides in his own Planet Clair of Ball

I find his commentary quite refreshing & exceedingly funny. He surely doesn’t provide your normal game color. His knowledge of Ball & basketball history is extraordinary As stated previously, he really doesn’t give a shit about the mundane school crap that most mundane broadcasters spew constantly

Bill lives his life on his own quirky terms & broadcasts in the same vein.

It's especially more palatable when our on court performance isn't that great and I want to throw things. His spiel about D'Antoni and dirt was some next level out of this world stuff lmfao.

I am ok with his goofy stoner humor, but I like it much more on some other team's telecast. He was especially brutal in this tournament, distracting and unbearable.
