Xavier men's soccer alum and USL standout Luke Spencer was named USL Cup MVP on Thursday night as Louisville City FC defeated Phoenix Rising FC 1-0 in the title match before a sold-out crowd of 7,025 at Lynn Stadium.

I watched the game hoping for a Rising win but it was cool to see Spencer score the winner. Drogba was bad last night.

I haven't looked at his stats for this year, but Didier was really slowing down last time I saw him play.
