I am old school and have been a season ticket holder since the mid 90's at the Gardens. I doubt if I have missed more than 10 home games during that time frame. I do not recall any Musketeer wearing a headband. I am not particularly fond of it but as I said I am old school. Just curious what others feedback may be and if anyone recalls headbands being worn before by Xavier.

I think Miller and Mack had a no headband policy.
Personally I have never worn one, but some enjoy them.

It's a headband. Does something like that really bother you?
No different than a pair of shoes. Do you approve of the team shoe?

What does being old school have to do with not liking headbands? They’re not a new invention and they serve a practical purpose.

The fact that Chris Mack had the audacity to ban headbands while gracing the Cintas sidelines with his collection of hideous ties is really something.

I’m OLDER school...and they don’t bother me in the least. In fact, I think that if everyone wearing headbands becomes a team wide thing, it will be fun. I can see it becoming something that the student section will get into. Have a headband giveaway night!
Some people take this all waaay to seriously. They’re college kids for heavens sake. Let them have some fun.

Upcoming next... no ink policy. Everyone in JP-ish tights or Hooters style pantyhose. It will be a fantastic look.
(Really, who cares)

Y'all trying to lose points in the Pick the Score?
I think they make the kid look goofy, but they probably think I’m a goofy looking old man.
It’s a wash.... Live your life.

HAHAHA, my friend texted me at the beginning of the game "It's a nice change of pace to not have to look at Mack's horrendous wardrobe."

Kurt Rambis rocked a headband.

But was much more well known for unique eye wear.

Or Miller who just, apparently, climbed out of the pool?

Shouldn’t we discuss how a headband increases the aerodynamic drag and may effect the players lift when jumping off of one foot? :)

I think a requirement to wearing a headband should be sporting an afro too  Like the old ABA days!!

if we are commenting on the headbands then the new hoodies need to be addressed. When the kids put the hoods on the head, from my perspective way up it looks as if they are wearing bonnets. Who came up with that mess?

My wife said the same thing. Not a good look.

I like when some players wear headbands because it makes them easier to identify. If everyone did it, I'd have a much more difficult time. Yes, I can't always see their faces clear enough with a wide shot on TV and fast action.

Yeah, I'm with you on this. Sure, I have the roster that I cut out of the newspaper at the ready, but these kids nowadays move too fast for me to see their number. A unique identifying characteristic definitely helps.
Sadly, I am more serious than sarcastic in this post.

This is marginally related, but a coworker was listing off all of her least favorite NBA players a while back. The list included LeBron, Isaiah Thomas, Rajon Rondo, DeMarcus Cousins, and Carmelo Anthony. I asked if she actually hated them, or just their headbands. After much thought, she decided it was the headbands. So I guess it matters to some people.
