Was perusing my channel guide this morning and saw that there is an hour long X preview show on WXIX tonight at 7. Just thought I’d share in case anyone wasn’t aware. I look forward to watching it before the Bungs game.

I think this team has gelled nicely and it looks like they all get along well. Defense is going to be key and they all talked about a chip on their shoulder b/c just about everyone is not buying in right now.

If you didn’t see the show, the idea that the returning players feel very disrespected and have a hunger to prove people wrong was a reacurring theme.

“Newcomers” was referring to the transfers, none of whom have had the NCAA tourney experience, and know they just have this one last chance.

I officially excited now!

Was at the AC Hotel Saturday. The XU recruits that were on official visits were there, some with family. Dante looked to be in charge of playing ambassador and getting them into the SUVs (3) Not sure where the dinner was but observations. The recruit from KY names Miles. Looks to be every bit of 6' 10. Dante looks like he was handled quite a bit of responsibility. Mess up with the parents and kiss the recruit good bye. Make a good impression and the program possibly adds another player we talk about for 15 years or so.

I guess that is par for the course. Can't wait to get the results. We should know on Garner and Tandy today or this week.

Doesn't hurt my feelings in the least, but who on earth wants to come across that way about a recruit's family? It is poor taste. However, how would an immature kid with a "pissing" avatar be able to identify poor taste. Grow up.

I could never prove this, but I'm sure lots of recruits and their families read message boards like this when they are considering a school. That was a tasteless comment from Murph85 that does not represent the view (I hope) of most Xavier fans. Thank god for the 247 message board, I'd forgotten just how dumb some people on this board really are.

It is also on tomorrow (Wednesday) at 5:00. I set it up to DVR then with the delayed start tonight.
