My first year after I graduated I got the "leftover" card that the sticker that went on current students ID's came on and used a typewriter to type 1993 and cut it to the size of the real sticker. They figured it out by the 2nd half of the season and the person at the student entrance became a font expert. Typewriters were kind of limited in their font selection. I think that was the reason for their downfall.
