His name is Travis Steele.

I know they had to cut a few jobs over at that company but when are these ACC worshiping folks gonna get around to removing Dude (and his ho-hum twitter feed) and replace it all with our new and much improved Man of Steele.

Oh.. and by the way... I noticed you guys over there only like mentioning transfers that are going to ACC and Big Ten and SEC teams
on your site. Hmm.

ESPN....where worthless coaches go to run their mouths. Talking about Seth Greenberg and Dan Dakich.

How about their characterization of Mack's move as the "Biggest No-Brainer" in their article on coaching moves? Link: http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/23105351/the-winners-losers-biggest-surprises-college-basketball-coaching-carousel.

The "Biggest No-brainer" is that a coach with bravado is a better fit at Louisville, while a coach with gravitas is a better fit at X.

Thankfully that'a just how this coaching move has worked out.

I am so good with what has transpired. After the doomsday loss to FSU and the exit of Mack I could not imagine being satisfied or content for a long time. The thought of losing momentum was depressing after 3-4 decades of a rising program.

Steele has made more progress in two weeks than I could imagine. Very impressive.

I agree. Replacing Mack with Steele was the true no-brainer. But I have a problem with ESPN saying that moving from X to Louisville is also a no-brainer.

I took it to mean that it was a no-brainer for LOUISVILLE to hire Mack.

Agree. Mack was the best candidate.

No brainer for Cards and no brainer for Mack. Life is set forever with money and kids trust funds. Plus Mack is very cmpetitive and likely looks forward to getting recruits to compete with UNC, UV, and Duke.

Word. Still have a hard time seeing him wear Louisville Adidas gear.

I agree. The Xavier gear seemed to be made for him and his family.

The Louisville stuff just feels like Halloween costumes, or something.

Seems that Coach Dude really might be the best candidate for the Cards... rumors flying that he’s already committed a recruiting violation when he openly discussed by name a high school player during the dead period. Said he could mention by name because they were no longer in contact with/actively recruiting him. Mack now announces he has an in-home with him on Wednesday.

In the words of Mr. Johnny Cash, “I went down, down, down, and the flames went higher”

Who cares? Let them, Chris Mack, and anyone else think it. Meanwhile Louisville will never be more than a second rate citizen behind UNC and Duke while X just continues to do what they do
