Coaches who left their alma mater

Was racking my brain to think of any significant college football or basketball coaches who left their school for another. This is on their own terms of course (plenty have been fired), and some have 'gone pro' (Fred Hoiberg from Iowa State to the Chicago Bulls).

All I can think of is Rich Rodriguez leaving West Virginia for Michigan. Some cursory Google searches didn't yield additional instances of this happening.

If in fact I am not forgetting anyone, Mack to Louisville isn't unprecedented but it is very rare.

Matta may be the most notable one given where the program was.

BC is the only instance on here where the school was in a major conference --- but BC is not a major program.

Self left Oklahoma St as an assistant, not the head coach (I should have clarified).

This still seems pretty rare and, well, shitty.

It's an oldie, but Frank McGuire left St. John's to go UNC.

AND, he took St. John's to a FF in 1952 and then took off after that season.
