Until we're put in a tournament bracket with the possibility of an early matchup against Louisville? Happened with Matta after he left for tOSU, and happened with Miller at least twice.

If Q, Tryique, Scruggs, and Naji stay we should be able to make the tournament.

I think it's unrealistic to expect it next year, but I'd be very disappointed if we're not there the year after.

It’s crazy to say it’s unrealistic to expect to make the tournament next year. If Q, Naji, Scruggs, Gates, Jones and Harden return and Boudreaux enrolls, I’d be very surprised if X doesn’t dance.

Kinda premature to assume a mass exodus of recruits, isn’t it? Just last year Archie held together a complete class recruited by a totally different staff. I think that situation is rather analogous here, as it was an underwhelming group on paper for IU as well.

Edit: obviously this is before Boudreaux reopened.

And like 8 of them just left about a week ago.

Oh wait, that was UD, nevermind.

Hmm think you’re talking about UD.

I’m referring to Archie holding together Crean’s last class at IU, which I think is a decent analogy seeing as both IU 2017 and XU 2018 are underwhelming compared to what the programs are used to bringing in (on paper). Not to mention in all likelihood there will be some continuity with Steele.
