I know not everyone on here likes the guy, but I do because he seems to be a big fan of X. He's done a lot of our games and he always mentions Mack, and how much Mack loves X. He also always says Chris has made it his destination job. And he raves about Cintas and the program.Don't know if someone told him to say that, but he's very complimentary of the program.

I noticed he made it a point to talk to all the seniors during warm-up on senior night.

I've always liked him.

I thought it was a big get for Fox when they nabbed him away from CBS. Remember that he had the big Saturday SEC / CBS Studio show for college football and also did games for that network.

My problem with Brando is two fold.

1) for about three games after the Creighton game he bitched that Creighton got robbed on that last call.
2) For about the last month, in every game he did, he talked about how Nebraska should be in the tourney. I don't give a (blankety blank) about Nebraska while watching a X game.

I'm sure he's a nice guy. I'm not a big fan of his play-by-play though. I found it especially brutal when he was paired with Elmore. However, X was undefeated in the games he called, so I guess he isn't all bad.

After the last regular season game at DePaul Brando announced he was 8-0 in Xavier games he had called and with the DePaul win he was now 9-0.

I pretty much only watch XU games til tourney time. Not familiar with announcers in general. Guess I shouldn't have replied, but maybe others are as "in the dark" as me.
