Congratulations to Naji and well deserved. One of many awards to come for this very talented young Musketeer.

Yep, we have a future star in this league with Marshall and a very sold PG in Scruggs who will get better. Really curious to see how much Harden improves in the off season........if he does, that's one heck of a class

This just in.... Naji Marshall has won the Naji Marshall Award again
Give this guy four years, not only will I rename every award after him, they may rename the Big East in his honor.
The Big Naji Conference.
I am bullish on Naji and short paragraphs.
The Big Naji Conference.

Naji looked like an absolute stud out there tonite. Great hustle, on offense and Defense! And I thought he should have got two or three more calls. Love the way he plays and just gets better every game.

He sure does seem to be blossoming. Jeez, if he continues like he did tonight.

Naji (and Paul) have the opportunity to be first-round NBA draft choices in 2021 if they stay on campus, take advantage of our great coaching (and conditioning) staffs by listening to the experts, and riding the Xavier train to multiple Final Fours. (Yes, I have had a couple of Woodford Reserves this evening following the Muskies' win over Georgetown. But those two kids are talented and leave little of their grit and fortitude wasting away within their minds and bodies when they leave the floor following such games as this evening's!)
GO MUSKIES!!!

Maybe the doom and gloom crowd won’t be so in the dumps about the 18-19 team.

Good core for next year. With Beaudraux added and a freshman or two surprises (and maybe Harden) it could be a solid year.

I think Mack will add another Bernard or Kanter as well (crosses fingers)

Might Naji win BE freshman of the year?
Not sure who else has won as many or more Freshman of the Week awards.

Spellman also has 4. I think it still will go to Spellman, as he has been a bit more consistent throughout the season, but Marshall is making it close down the stretch. If Marshall has another big week and closes with 3 straight BE Freshman of the Week honors, maybe he could take it. Or them taking the easy way out and going Co-Freshman of the Year wouldn't be shocking either. (Though I forget how Freshman of the Year is determined. Is it voted on by coaches, or does the league office decide?)
