St John's did us & the league a favor taking down #1 Nova. We now have 1/2 game lead for BE Title at 10-2 vs Nova at 9-2. We hold our own destiny. Team needs to focus one game at a time. Butler could beat Nova again with Paschall probably still out. KUDOS to Big Bad John for taking out the Duke of Earl also. Songs are going off in my head. Charlie Pride's singing "Are you going to San Antone". Slow down, We move too fast, Got to make the Season last - Kickin down the Big East Foes - Having some Fun & feeling Groovy. The Muskies are alive with the Sound of Music. Next concert at Creighton.

We are the Champions by Queen (seems appropro for Champs of the Queen City & USA ) when we beat Virginia for our 1st Title. Need songs for the Round of 32, Sweet 16 & entrance to the Final 4.

8 Miles High sounds more like the Dead....

Don't know your age. 8 Miles High was a huge hit by the Byrds in the 1960's. Saw them in Cincy & Dayton in their hey days. To everything, turn turn turn, there is a season - another huge hit based on biblical sayings. The Eagles was also one of my favorite "bird" groups.

Some of the post-Dead lineups have played Eight Miles High.

I saw Phil Lesh's "Phil and Friends" play it in 2005 in Chicago. Vocals are shaky but instrumentally they play it very nicely.
