Per MARIO Mecurio’s twitter account.

“Blue throwbacks won’t debut until 2018-19. Little disappointing but should be worth the wait. Production schedules were overloaded this year and ultimately a 2017-18 delivery wasn’t feasible.”

Xavier hyped up each set of new uniforms and built up a lot of anticipation. I won’t lose any sleep but it sounds like someone messed this up big time.

About 9 1/2 minutes after the whistle blew, they were hawking Eagle hats and Tee Shirts with Super Bowl Champion logos.

Shouldn't be hard to gin up some shorts over a few months.

Hopefully it wasn't a Xavierhoops poster, but someone was going hard at Mario on twitter about this. He has done great things for Xavier, and to attack him over something as silly as.. not having throw back away uniforms this year, but rather next year, is extremely childish. Shameful

Well, you don't have to worry about it being me, since I don't know how to twitter.

I got the 96-97 shorts from them. Really good quality pair of shorts. I just wish they had pockets. That would be a game changer. May hold off and see if the bookstore puts something out this year.

Don't hold your breath. The bookstore can't even come up with a decent sweater vest selection.

They should really liaise with the Dayton bookstore staff on that one.

Didn't know sweater vests were in demand anymore

I would buy some, but $65 is stiff.

Of all the things to worry about in this world, sweater vests at the bookstore is way down on the list. What the hell's the matter with you?

They say modern standard fit. I assume this means they aren't retro short shorts?

Correct. The other pair I got says the same thing and it was a normal fit.

Speaking of the Flyers, my oldest is participating in a volleyball tourney at Guardian Angels in Cincy this weekend and who do I see last night??? None other than Mr. Keith Waleskowski. All I could think about was him whining about how he gave up 47 points to one guy (DFW)! Hahaha.

FYI...for those wondering, yes, he still looks like he molests watermelons.

You lucky if $65 buys the first chapter of a text book.

GA always stood for “Great Athletes” when I was walking those halls.

I happen to look good in sweater vests. Plus, with all the global cooling going on these days, I think it's prudent to wear an extra layer.

oh noooooo....1980's XU uniforms were so tacky. When X joined the A10 and adopted a new logo, lifeblood pumped into the X uniforms.
