I dont see how this team wins another road game. They may have a shot to win at Georgetown but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't. They just piss down their leg outside of Cintas. Blueitt missing the front end of a one and one and Scruggs missing the rim on a free throw is evidence of that. This game is not over but I dont think our guys have much confidence on the road anymore

Im hoping Mack draws up a play to get Desi his 4th ASAP. We found some success going inside out, so Mack needs to use the fresh legs of Kanter/O’Mara/Jones to grind down Delgado, who I don’t think came out in the first half.

I think once you get it stuck in your head he's awful you think that and won't let it go. Also a little surprised that the rebounding margin was only +3 for Seton Hall at the end of this game. A lot of their offensive rebounds came off of poor shots that caught Xavier off guard early on in the game. They finally adjusted in the 2nd half and limited 2nd chance points from guys like Delgado.

Definitely a huge win on the road. Now a tough one at home against Marquette awaits before their first weekend bye in conference play. I just hope the bye doesn't kill the momentum this team has built up now.

He was pretty good today. Not there offensively yet, but did hit a big shot in 2nd half. Played some really good defense also. Finished with 23 minutes, 6 points, 5 assists and only 1 turnover.

I love JP as much as anybody on this board, he is the douchebag I wish I was, and the athlete I wish I was, but I don't think he's played himself into an NBA camp just quite yet. He is athletic, but has a lot to improve on before getting a nod, that being said, any team over in Europe would be stupid not to take him.

Yep, Xavier had a HUGE advantage on the bench as compared to Seton Hall. They had nobody whatsoever who was productive when Rodriguez and Sanogo got into foul trouble in the game.

I agree. The versatility of styles is what makes this team tantalizing. They could lose in the opening round, but they are a match-up buster because of the different looks they have in them.

Watching that second half and J.P. Macura lead Xavier to victory with absolute grit, hustle and steel balls was Pure Joy.

I am still smiling and laughing about the game the next morning.

Honestly, JP's performance was right up there with one of the greatest ever by an XMan imho. WOW! Lost in the shuffle is the great job he did on Powell defensively.

I was at the game in Jersey for this one and it was one of my favorite road games I've been to. Really great win. Probably JP Macura's best all around game in a Xavier uniform. On the floor with BE 1st teamers Blueitt and Delgado, JP was the best player on the court Saturday.

I'll say one more thing about the game. How nice is it that we didn't get anything from 2 starters (Kanter or Marshall) and pulled off a road win against a top 20 team. We are good.

Totally agree. He is turning the corner more quickly than we realize I think. Will be a valuable piece down the stretch.

I just looked it up but I didn't know that the Hammer's offensive rating was actually the highest his senior year. His lowest ORating was his soph year when he average PPG was the highest.
