I love how they TRY to give props to UC..."big wins over Coppin State, West Carolina and Embry-Riddle....(and)...managed to win the Cayman Island Classic, one of the top 15 preseason tournaments."
Are you kidding me! What a slate of giants in college basketball - are these even D1 teams?
They "managed" to win ONE of the TOP 15 preseason tournaments.
This is a joke, right?
And then the impressive win over Alabama State...who was able to secure the 8th seed in the SWAC tournament last season.
What's that again?
8th seen in the SWAC? Oooooh. Impressive.
This is hilarious.

Doubt that’s correct. Xavier has wins over UC, Marquette, Butler and now Creighton. I believe UC’s best wins are over Buffalo and UCLA. Xavier has 8 top 100 wins and UC 6. UC has played 4 teams who are over 300 and Xavier has played zero.

I'm pretty confident that this writer's tongue was planted firmly in his cheek. At first, I thought he might be one of the delusional ones, but he brought together so much ridiculousness that I have to mention Poe's Law.

When does your son matriculate at Xavier? Give him our compliments.
This guy is an astute and skilled writer. It was great to talk to him personally yesterday after the game. I should have bought him a beer.
Also, it doesn't seem fair that you are getting rep points for his work.

You are correct. The author is a poster on this board and wrote this for the St. X newspaper.
