Since I usually drive in from Indianapolis I often make it just for tip off.

Tomorrow however I'm bringing my step sons to their first game and they want to look around and meet the blue blob.

Is there a certain time that would allow for this. Such as do the mascots hang out on the concourse up until a certain time?

Hi, not sure about the mascots, but if they are on the concourse it's probably not during the mad rush. But you do see them around for exactly the purpose you are hoping for.

Here is some info (from the Fan Center tab on goxavier.com) that it might help know ahead of time.

Saturday, Jan. 13 vs. Creighton at 2:00 p.m.
GIVEAWAY: Arm sleeve giveaway to first 500 kids in grades 8 and under
POST-GAME: All kids in grades 8 and under are invited to participate in layups on the floor

They are walking around the concourse before game time. Usually 30-40 minutes before.

I would get there 45 minutes early to allow time to check out the new areas, chill w the Blob, etc. Have fun!

meet the blue blob.

This thread will be useless without pictures.

Better yet, get a picture of your sons with Snipe.

Safe travels, I hope they have a blast.
