Defense seems good overall. Team Stats seem to signify a very good D.
PPG X 86.5-Opp 71.6 (+14.9). FG% X .510- Opp .398. 3 Pt % X .373 - Opp .321. Free Throw Made X-321, FT Att for Opp 272
REBOUND MARGIN +7.9 per game. ASS/TO X 284/200. OPP 205/186. STEALS 6.1 per game OPP 6.6 per game. BLOCKS 3.6 per game.
OPP 4.2 per game. Holding OPP under 40% shooting is difficult. Making more FT than OPP Attempts shows our ability to get to the hole & ability to stop OPP from getting there. Opponents blocking more shots probably because we are getting way more inside attempts than them.The lack of a true weak link on D doesn't allow OPP to pick on 1 player regularly.

Playing so uptempo hurts us and with JP and Trevon we sacrifice a little defensive strength, but more than anything a lot of the strong defensive teams via Kenpom have played no one so far whereas we have played one of the toughest schedules in the country so far. That said, we need to improve on preventing penetration and offensive rebounds, but having Scruggs and Naji get more minutes only helps us defensively. Those guys are defensive studs.
