X fans, IMO this game has become far more important in the overall scheme of things due to the ASU loss. The past week has greatly diminished the UW win, as they are currently in the basement of the B10. Will the Badgers even make the tournament? At this point we have beaten no one OOC. Tonight is a must because the Shootout is before the next rankings on Monday and our OOC resume hinges on these next 2. I know a lot of you will say "Who cares about the polls this early", but for me, it is major to stay in the top 25...just to stay in the media conversation.......Go X!!!

I think being in the Top 25 is important for branding, and keeping recruits interested but that's about it. It's not like we're a small school that isn't well known anymore, when I wear my X gear, people comment on it, and reference our basketball program. We don't have the type of marketability as say a Duke, but we are well known in people who follow college basketball. Continuing a program of excellence means staying in the Top 25, staying competitive, and making noise in March, so I agree, these next two games are very important in terms of what type of recruits we can attract to X. We all want to take the next step and become a Final 4 contender year in and year out, so even though it's November, it's nice to win these games. I'm just hoping we win, but if we don't, it'll be okay, we're gonna mesh into a scary team come March, regardless of November results.

everybody played well and if goodin shoot 40% the sky is the limit. He had 9 assists and when he was in turnovers went to almost zero. Bleuitt is letting the game come to him and the numbers are down but is rebounding and assisting. Three headed center outplayed big Joe. Macroa fine, Kanter contributed and freshmen looked good.When you see Baylor beating a Kansas or WV later you will know how good this win was. Gates much improved and the X factor on X

Its not really weird actually. It's actually simple. The players like the black and Grey uniforms like I said(not a black and grey combo). They wont wear the same one every game, thus why they have switched a couple times.

I hope he gets well quickly and kills it the rest of the season. The guy had like 15 early on us. Go Baylor! Easier to cheer for them than UC the rest of the year, but I want what’s best for X.

Baylor will be a tough team for people, the Big 12 is very good this year, but I fully expect them to challenge, they have some pieces, and could put together an impressive resume, which will look good for us in the long run. Really proud of our scheduling this year, hats off to Mario, he put together a good non-conference slate to test us before conference play begins.

Also, I just saw Baylor Forward Terry Matson has a broken hand and will be out till Jan. With him scoring 15 in the 1st half, him going out certainly helped X get the W. Hope he has a good recovery.
