I recall the rather tepid response it got at Muskie Madness. I noted at the exhibition game it was very noticeable by its absence.

The name itselsf was pretty stupid. The reason for not going through with it is stupid.

Overall, I'm happy it's not being named the holy land. Though, if I understand correctly, they put this naming up to a vote. The students voted on it, so in the end, they should go with what was voted on.

It really should never have been approved as a choice for the student vote. Not sure if that falls on athletics or student affairs, but it was a bad call.

And while we're talking about offensive crap at Cintas, I'd love to see an end to the creepy Fr Graham striptease routine.

The name of the section definitely needs to be changed to something. I think the term "student" is deeply offensive, as is "section", as Drudy stated, which promotes promiscuity. I vote for something more inclusive like "nondescript attendees of Xavier University zone". Not everyone in that section falls under the category of "studious".
