I didn't expect em to be totally different because a lot of the Nike uniforms are similar. I do like the navy trim around the neck. Reminds of Oklahoma/West Virginia football. Shorts are fire.

Really interested to see what they do with the blacks, and the 2 throw back ones

I read that the new Nike Rio template doesn't offer anything on the back anymore.

I liked the "old" jerseys so this is a great update for me. The shorts look great with the X swords and the new navy collar on the shirt is solid. I didn't think they needed any other changes.

I expect the next three days will be pretty much the same reveal/uniforms, just with the colors alternated. The fun will begin when they reveal the royals and powder blues.

This reveal would be so much better if they could have a player model each jersey rather than just showing this prototype design on a mannequin. I want to see how the real jerseys look on players. Hard to tell how they will look otherwise.

What I think they did is they picked a Xavier great who was known for a certain jersey. For example, West had big games in the black jersey, Tu in the white, Byron in the blue throwback, etc.

Had a Twitter conversation with Mario. Those are the same throwbacks as last year. Standard Nike cut for throwbacks and same design. Blues will be the same design.

He also mentioned most of the players like that cut better so they'll continue to have both styles going forward. I guess they could change up the design though.

I didn't grow up on them, I didn't even become an X fan until attending in 2011, just following very casually but I personally love them, they could definitely improve them, but I really don't think they look bad, I thought they looked clean, and a lot of friends from other schools seem to agree.

I wouldn't want the Running Man to become the primary logo again, but I like it as an alternate. And I wish it was bigger on the shorts like they were on the mock-ups. Now, I could be talked into the primary color scheme going back to those shades of blue.
