“He’s not going to play this year in the NCAA because I already reported him to the NCAA and I’m already going to meet with the NCAA,” said Johnson. “He’s not going to play this year. I’m not going to lie to you. I exposed that kid.”
The impetus for Johnson’s decision to turn Bamba in was a rift between the family that he alleges was caused by Love. Johnson was planning on following Bamba to whatever school he chose, enrolling in graduate school there and taking classes to become an NBA agent to represent Bamba. Bamba, according to Johnson, cut him out of the process. This is his revenge.

It would be unusual to lose an entire season of eligibility over $200. I think it'll work out, if it's even true. The guy's brother sound like a real winner

Sounds to me like this guy is probably more a brother/father to him than his actual brother ever was.

It was $200 A WEEK. Okay, that is rather serious if it's true. I thought it was $200 total. But still, if it's less than $10k he will only miss about nine games if he pays the money back.

If it was a pre-existing, early childhood relationship (as it supposedly is), he may not have to pay back a dime.

The outside guy involved here cut off Bamba's brother and his mom. You absolutely never cut off the kid's mom. Brother and mom had the pick up and move back him from Texas. Bamba might miss a few games.
